Not to be confused with Wurm.

Template:Infobox type Worm is a blue, green, and black creature type used for cards depicting long, slender, soft-bodied, legless, bilaterally symmetrical, creeping animals. Leeches are excepted since they have their subtype.

The first creature to bear the type was <c>Mole Worms</c> in Ice Age. Other examples include <c>Insidious Bookworms</c> from Alliances and the <c>Simic Ragworm</c> [1] from Dissension.

Trivia[edit]

  • <c>Worms of the Earth</c> was the first card to mention Worms but is an enchantment.
  • <c>Feast of Worms</c> is another sorcery, alluding to the association of worms with death.
  • <c>Creakwood Liege</c> is the only creature card that creates Worm tokens.
  • <c>Spined Fluke</c> is a Worm Horror.
  • <c>Death Charmer</c> is a Worm Mercenary.
  • <c>Cryptic Annelid</c> is a Worm Beast.
  • <c>Coiling Woodworm</c> is an Insect Worm.
  • <c>Water Wurm</c> might be a misnamed Worm.[2]
  • <c>Reef Worm</c> can create a 3/3 blue Fish creature token, which in turn can create a 6/6 blue Whale creature token, which can create a 9/9 blue Kraken creature token.
  • Kamigawa is known for its silkworms.[3]
