Return to Tarkir is the working title for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering set codenamed "Ultimate". It is the 104th Magic expansion and is expected to be released in Q2, 2025.[1]
Set details[edit]
The set was first teased during the 2023 Announcement Day panel at Gen Con Indiana where it was revealed that it's focused on a return to Tarkir.[1][2] R&D aims for this set to combine the best features of Khans of Tarkir and Dragons of Tarkir as a "best of both worlds" solution to the fan reception of the original block. The set will include Dragons.

The set marks the conclusion of the Dragonstorm Arc.
