The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great choice if you're seeking a robot vacuum and mop that's middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn't have the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best floor robot vacuum and mop-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, such as the dirt compartment built into the charging base. The robot will learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.
Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the procedure. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of the button. You can choose a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as cereal and rice or go for two detailed maps of your area to ensure that your entire home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum performs well on both floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will get better with future models.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that has an open-fronted, flat-fronted design. The company hopes that this will allow it to be able to hug furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be just marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims the S9+ has a superior filtering system that stops tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a premium price.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require more attention.

What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden from view and also washes and dry the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app will only notify you if something is wrong for example, a low clean water tank or a cancelled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.
You can also design and merge rooms to modify how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful if you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum was also among the top performers in my tests, picking up debris on carpets as well as hardwood floors in the first attempt. It can also vacuum up wet spills, though I recommend drying them using a clean cloth before bringing the robot into.

These features are great but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall and has a white-colored finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper that helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving around the home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that aid the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, you'll find one button that is a switch for on and off. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and send it to its base station.
