Template:Infobox type Eye is a seldom-used black creature type used for cards that depict magical sentient beings that appear as large, floating, single eyes.

Description[edit]

History[edit]

<c>Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore</c> from Legends used to be subtype Evil-Eye until it became became a Horror in Sixth Edition. When <c>Evil Eye of Urborg</c> was printed in Time Spiral, Evil Eye of Orms-by-Gore got a tweak to interact with it. They both get the new Eye type and could, therefore, attack together. Another Eye was printed in Strixhaven: School of Mages with <c>Eyetwitch</c>

The Eye creature type also appears on the silver-bordered <c set="UST" number="" title="Spy Eye" artist="">Spy Eye</c> (Unstable) and Heroes of the Realm celebration card <c>Kharis & The Beholder</c>.

Other creatures that conceivably could have been Eyes are <c>Unblinking Bleb</c> and <c>Wandering Eye</c>. They are Illusions instead. Additionally, many Homunculus have eyes as a large portion of their body mass, and <c>Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom</c> calls attention to this.

Doctor Who introduced the first white Eye creature to represent the Atraxi.

Storyline[edit]

The <c>Eyetwitch</c> of Arcavios is an Eye Bat that is seen as the perfect ingredient for ocolumancers.
