Mammoth
Template:Infobox type Mammoth is an obsolete and test card creature type for a race of elephantine animals with coats of thick brown hair and long, deeply curved tusks.
History[edit]
Mammoth was one of the first creature types introduced in Alpha with <c>War Mammoth</c>, and also appeared in Ice Age. Later in the Grand Creature Type Update the creature type was incorporated in the Elephant type. From that moment on, <c>Elephant Graveyard</c> regenerated only Elephants because Mammoths no longer existed as such.
The type reappeared on <c>Domesticated Mammoth</c>, a test card in the Mystery Booster set.
Known mammoths[edit]
Mammoths have been seen on several different planes.
Dominaria[edit]
Mammoths were widespread during the Ice Age of Dominaria. Later, <c set="" number="" title="Wild Mammoths" artist="">Wild Mammoth</c> were still trained as beasts of war.
Ikoria[edit]
<c set="" number="" title="Honey Mammoths" artist="">Honey Mammoth</c> of Ikoria have a blue colored head and a big sweet tooth.
Ulgrotha[edit]
Ulgrothan mammoths were eventually almost entirely bred and kept in captivity, especially among the folks of An-Havva. They were used for difficult labor.
