Description[edit]
Starfish are invertebrate marine animals that have a body wall stiffened by calcareous pieces that may protrude as spines. The body is radially arranged, usually in the form of a star, with five or more rays or arms radiating from a central disk.
Starfish are the favorite prey of the <c>Stinging Lionfish</c>.
History[edit]
For a long time the creature type had been used only once, for the card <c>Spiny Starfish</c> from Alliances (and the tokens it produces). Like its natural counterpart, it can regenerate. Much later, Journey into Nyx added the <c>Sigiled Starfish</c>.[1] Modern Horizons 2 introduced the first non-blue Starfish in <c>Sinister Starfish</c>.
